Catherine Blanche

She was born on October 5th, 1947, in Charleston, South Carolina to Norborne and Katherine LaFong. Catherine loved family gatherings, bowling, helping people, sewing, flower arrangements, genealogy, dancing, and animals.

Catherine Blanche is survived by her husband of 60 years, Clifford Blanche of Ridgeville. 1 daughter; Dawn Parker, of Summerville. 2 sons; Jon Blanche (Cindy) of North Charleston, Chad Blanche of Summerville. 5 Grandchildren; Justin Parker of Simpsonville, Michelle Bengal of Maryland, Katlyn Blanche of North Charleston, Ryan Blanche of North Charleston, and Maryssa Blanche of Greenville. 4 Great-Grandchildren, Kaleb Parker of Summerville, Adalyn Parker of Summerville, Hayden Thibodeaux of North Charleston, and Jon Blanche of North Charleston. Her siblings, Marion LaFong of Manning, Michael LaFong of James Island, Mary Sawadske of Manning, Zach LaFong of Hanahan, and Richard LaFong of Ladson.

A memorial service will be held at 4pm on October 7th, 2025, at Divine Redeemer Church in Hanahan, South Carolina.
