Cindy Landry

Cindy Varnes Landry, 58, of North Charleston, SC, wife of Stephen Landry, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at MUSC. Cindy was born March 22, 1958 in Jacksonville, FL, a daughter of Mary Coghlan and the late Samuel Varnes. Cindy enjoyed motorcycle rides and trips with her husband Steve. She enjoyed the time she spent with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and family and friends. She went to Midland Park Elementary, R.B. Stall High and West Nassua (FL) High School. She is survived by her husband Stephen Landry, her mother: Mary Coghlan, children: Michele Skipper (Robbie), Leona Reardon (Joseph), Wayne Hewitt, Nancy Watson (Ronald) and Heather losa, sisters: Juanita Haughney (Patrick), Brenda Hunter (Jimmy), and Belva Alexander, grandchildren: Kaitlin, Annie, Kristen, Kelsey, Hannah, Sean, Izabelle, Liliana and Nicole, great grandchildren: K’zhaun, and Sophia, many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins, and mother in law Thelma Landry. Cindy was predeceased by her father: Samuel Varnes, step father, David Coughlan and brother: Leland Varnes. A Gathering of friends will be held Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 10 am to 1 pm at CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME.
