Dikembe changed the course of my life and I will always be grateful for the time in my life he was a part of it. There are so many fond memories of high school and college with him. I was always looking forward to hanging out with him while he talked passionately about his interests (at the time it FromSoftware games) or showed YouTube videos.

I can't express enough what a kind person he was. No matter what he always asked if someone needed help and he would follow through if they did. Not only was he kind but he was one of the funniest people I ever knew and always quick with a witty remark. What I remember most is his infectious laugh and his facial expressions. He always stood up to laugh when something was especially funny to him and it made everyone else crack up along with him. His loss is felt in a way that leaves a profound sadness and emptiness. You will never be forgotten . 

Rest in Peace, Kimchi.

Had a place in my heart. He was always so kind hearted and always asked how we were doing. He always lifted my spirits I thought about him often. Him hating spicy foods always made me laugh. His laugh also was really funny and contagious.

Angus and I arrived at Davis- Monthan AFB around the same time as brand new 3 levels alongside 2 other people.  We definitely trauma bonded through the tribulations of navigating the Airforce. He drove me around countless times when I didn't have a car, checked up on me and honestly raced me to get our 5 level. He was a sweetheart, a genuine gentleman. He had this distinct laugh, it still echoes if you listen hard enough. This picture was one of the first times we explored  in Arizona at in antique shop, which he had various fun facts about board games. You are and will continue to be dearly missed Angus Beef. Rest in Power my dear friend.

I met Dikembe in Alternative Energy during high school. He was incredibly easy to get along with, a genuine guy. His passions were clear – anime and martial arts, and SCIENCE which he dove into with real enthusiasm.

I meet Dikembe back in 2020, we were in the same class for tech school. We got a chance to reconnect earlier this year at Hurlburt Field. Dikembe was a great soul, and a very dedicated airman. His loss will truly be mourned by the people who got the pleasure of knowing him. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.

He was a fun man to be around. He always managed to make me and others laugh. We had very similar tastes, and when we didn’t we got to share some new understandings. I’m glad I got to play so many board games with him on weekends, just hang out watching tv, or laugh at work together.
