Dolores B. Matthews

Born in Omaha, Nebraska on August 3, 1923 Dolores was the only daughter of the late Cleto Brock and Margaret A Mabletini Brock.

Dolores was a graduate of Memminger High School in Charleston, SC. She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church where she was a member of the choir and the Ladies Guild. Dolores was a member of the North Charleston Exchange Club Ladies Auxiliary and Woodman of the World. She was also a volunteer and member of Baker Hospital and Roper Care Alliance Auxiliaries. Dolores belonged to the Sand Piper Bowling League.

Dolores is survived by son, Charles F. Sandish, Sr. and wife Kathy of Batesburg, SC; grandchildren, Charles Sandish, Jr. of Fountain Inn, SC, Brock Sandish of Irmo, SC, Amanda Looney of Chapin, SC, Lisa Mitchum of St. Stephen, SC and Peter Sandish, Jr. of Moncks Corner, SC and great grandchildren, Hannah, Justin, Ashton, Sullivan, Tessa, Jordan and Landyn.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Friday, November 26, 2021 at Carolina Memorial Park, Funerals & Cremation located at 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406. 843-797-2222. The funeral service will follow immediately in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Carolina Memorial Park.
