Donna G. Yates

Relatives and friends of Donna Yates are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 2:00 PM, Monday, February 16, 2026, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of service on Monday.

Donna was born in Logan, West Virginia, on February 21, 1938. She was the daughter of Johnny and Elva Browning.

Donna had various jobs throughout her life but her primary job was to make a home for her husband and children.

She is survived by her children, Keith Yates (Cheri), Rick Yates, Steve Yates (Dixie) and Kim Travis (Tryfon); her grandchildren, Katie Wright (Bill), Kristie Campbell, Ahrean Bremer (William), Jamie Driggers (Andy), Joye Morrison (James), Allan Lanier (Melanie), Jonathan Yates (Madi), Shannon Howell (Tim), Heather Ridgway (Greg), Josh Yates, Chase Yates, Joe Travis and Lauren Owenby (Caleb); her great grandchildren, Sara Wright, Addison Wright, Triston Campbell, Ayven Bremer, Gemma Bremer, Drew Driggers, Delainey Driggers, Lexi Morrison, Tripp Morrison, Ella Way Lanier, Molly Lanier, Catherine Yates, Caitlyn Watson (Dru), Maddie Ridgway, Grace Ridgway, Nova Ridgway, Braelyn Ridgway, Tanner Yates, Talon Yates, Elliana Owenby and Carson Owenby; her siblings, Bennie Browning and Ronnie Browning as well as many nieces and nephews.

Donna was predeceased by her parents, Johnny & Elva Browning; her husband, Nelson Yates; her grandson, Eric Yates and 7 brothers and 2 sisters.
