

Elizabeth Ann Infinger of N. Charleston, SC, age 86, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on November 14, 2015. She is survived by daughters Carol I Griffin of Marietta, GA, and Sandra R. Infinger of Cottageville, SC; sons, James Larry Infinger of North Carolina, and Ernest E. Infinger, Jr. of Warner Robins, GA; brother, Arthur W. Champy, Jr, and sister, Marion Davis, both of Charleston, SC; and 4 grandsons, Jamey Infinger, Scottie Infinger, Brannon Infinger and Justin Infinger. Ann was born in Orangeburg, SC, on October 24, 1929, to the late Arthur and Viola Champy. She was a retired Federal Worker from the Contracts Division at the Naval Facilities Engineering Command in Charleston, SC. She also worked for Manhatten Shirt Co. and Levi Straus. She was devoted to her family and a devout Christian. She attended the Cooper River Baptist Church in North Charleston, SC. As a very energetic public servant, she served in local and state officer positions with the Wren and Jessamine Chapters of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA), International Toastmistress Clubs (ITC), and the National Association of Retired Federal Workers (NARFE). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in honor of Elizabeth Ann Infinger at Cooper River Baptist Church, 1059 Crawford St., North Charleston., SC 29405 and Good Samaritan Health Center of Cobb, 1605 Roberta Dr., Marietta, GA 30008. The family will receive friends 10 AM till 12 noon Saturday November 21, 2015 with a funeral service for Elizabeth will at 12 noon in the chapel of Carolina Memorial Funeral Home.
