Elizabeth MacPherson Lindsay

Elizabeth Bell Hutcheon MacPherson Lindsay, 88, of Goose Creek, SC, widow of Robert Lindsay, slipped away Sunday September 24, 2017. She died as she lived, peacefully and with her family by her side.

She was born April 26, 1929 to Elizabeth and Alexander MacPherson in Dundee, Scotland. On March 31st, 1951, she married the love of her life: Robert B.F. Lindsay. They were married just 2 days short of their 50th anniversary.

She is survived by Dorothy Dimit and husband Jeff Dimit, Robert Lindsay and wife Jill Lindsay, Beth Davis and husband Eddie Davis, and Anna Hamer along with partner Johnny Faircloth. She is the grandmother of 7 grandchildren: Angela Dawson and husband Craig, Bonnie Stetson, Heather Lindsay, Peggy Arnesman, the late Robert Perez, Holly Medley, Jaclyn Layman and husband Peter. She is great grandmother to 11 great grandchildren: Alexis, Jessica, and Megan McCain, Jack and Max Dawson, Devon, Rhiana, and Deana Lindsay, Kyra Collins, Lindsay Arnesman and Sarah Carter¬ Arnesman.

She loved to garden, shop, dance, travel, camp, care for, and visit with family. She spent her life looking out for her family and all who needed her.

The relatives and friends of Elizabeth Lindsay are invited to attend her funeral services on Friday September 29, 2017 at 2 PM at CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM to 2PM at the funeral home. Snacks and refreshments to follow in the reception area.
