Mrs. Elizabeth A Shaw

Elizabeth Anne "Betty" Treichler Rinker Shaw, 90, of Charleston County, wife of Earl D Shaw, passed away peacefully at her home on March 13, 2017. Mrs. Elizabeth Shaw was born November 1, 1926 in Norristown , Pa. She retired from S.C. Employment Security Commission in 1994 after many years of service. Preceded in death by her parents, Paul Treichler and Gladys O'Donell Treichler, a sister Ruth Ronnan, a brother Carroll "Joe" Treichler, her first husband John A. Rinker and her first born Jackie Rinker Nolen. She is survived by her husband Earl D. Shaw of 32 fun filled years, daughter Lynda R. Warren, step children David C. Shaw (Kristie), Jennifer M. Comtois (Kevin), sister Gladys Smith (Ralph), and brother Billy Treichler. Grandchildren Lauren Nolen, Susan Votra (Jason), and David Warren (Emily). Great grandchildren Austin Stamey, Taylor Votra, Bryce Votra, Lane Warren, Jack Warren and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday March 17, 2017 11 am at The Church of Good Shepherd 1393 Miles Dr. Charleston, S.C. 29407. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Church of Good Shepherd.
