Florine Mae Smith Ramsey

Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Mrs. Florine Mae Ramsey entered into beautiful eternal life on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 9:00am at home with her family by her side. She was 92 years young. She is survived by her daughter, Frances Harris, and son-in-law, Bill of John’s Island; her daughter-in-law, Joann Ramsey of Clinton, NC; her daughter, Ann Mizell and son-in-law Randy of Hanahan. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Tammy, Wendy, Michael Paul, Andrea, Gabriel and Sara, and her great-grandchildren: Zach, Elizabeth, Austin, Kellyn, Bella, Makenna, Leland, Ben, Paul, Brodie, Brayden, Nicholas and Marlee, as well as great-great grandchildren: Sarah and Caleb. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, CPO Donald Ramsey and her son, Michael Ramsey. Flo attended Remount Baptist Church. “Mimi” was the sweetest red head you’ll ever know and loved to be around people. She worked at the fountain and later as cashier at Berkeley Drugs for many years. Flo loved her children and grands, in fact, her favorite saying was “I rocked all of you till your feet touched the floor”. She was very generous and had a heart of gold. Mimi was very blessed to have lived a long and fulfilled life of love. Her journey of life will be celebrated on Saturday, December 17, 2016, 1:00pm at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, with a visitation being held from 11:00am until service time. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. All friends and family are welcome to attend.
