Mr. Frank "Buddy" Dwight Strange III

Relatives and friends of Frank (Buddy) Strange, III, are invited to attend his Funeral Service at 12 noon, Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Sunday.

Frank (Buddy) was born in Manning, South Carolina, on August 25, 1954. He was the son of Frank Dwight Strange Jr. and Bobby Jean Gibbons Strange. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who loved to spend time with his family, especially his two grandchildren, listening to and singing music and gardening. Frank finished his career as an Assistant Executive Director for Berkeley County Mental Health where he specialized in counseling for struggling children and their families and he spent his life trying to love and care for all children he encountered.

He is survived by the love of his life of 50 years, Debi Strange; his son, Paul W. Strange and his wife, Ashley; his two grandchildren, Taylor Strange and Hudson L. Strange; his mother, Bobby G. Strange; his brother, Ken M. Strange and his wife Colleen; his sister, Carloyn Strange; his nephew, Berlin Strange; his sister-in-law, Teresa A. Miller and brother-in-law, Mike Miller and their children (nephews/nieces) Liz Ann Wiggins, Jennifer Lusk, and Edwin Wilson Rogers III; his brother-in-law Fred Amaker and sister-in-law Cindy Amaker and their children (nephews/nieces) David Amaker, Wayne Amaker, and Scott Amaker. He was predeceased by his father, Frank D. Strange Jr; sister, Ann Marie Strange, and brother-in-law, Charles Amaker.
