Mr. Fulu Paaga

Fulu was born on July 18, 1937 to the late Paaga Lauvai Seui and the late Simasausi Kalati Siuta in Nu’uuli, Samoa.

Fulu was a Tech. Sergeant in the U.S.Air Force. He loved being in the military and being a part of the fire

department in the military. He served for 20 years before retiring out of the Air Force in Charleston S.C.

He was a member of Jedburg Baptist Church. Fulu was an avid bowler and loved to fish and have

cookouts with family and friends. Most importantly he was loved by his family and had a love for his

Church family and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Fulu is survived by son, Junior F. Paaga (Shirley); daughter, Ulumoe Ifale and Toesia Paaga; step-daughter, Debbie Burbage (Roger); step-son, Randy Faulk (Sandy); brothers, Rev. Pulemau Paaga, Tagiilima Paaga, Papu Paaga, Pastor Viliamu Paaga, Fitu Paaga and Televise Paaga; sisters Faafetai Fatu and Mara Leiataua; 22 grandchildren and step-grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren.”

In addition to his wife, Nora, and his parents, Fulu was preceded in death by son, Pulemau Paaga; step-daughter Vicki Thomas; step-son, Bubba Faulk; brothers, Karauna Solaita, Leti Paaga, Pastor Kurene Paaga, Pemita Paaga, Liulotu Paaga and sister Lili Paaga.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Jedburg located at 121 Brewer Rd, Summerville, SC 29483. Fulu’s Celebration of Life will follow immediately in the sanctuary at 1:00 PM. Interment will be at Carolina Memorial Park located at 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406. 843-797-2222.
