

Fondly known as Gerry, Gerry was born on January 9, 1936 to Benjamin Beryl Gullette and Coye Lucille Gullette (nee Bryant) in Vicksburg, MS.
She is survived by her children Kathryn Theobald Risher (Doug), Susan Theobald Rufty (Brad), Lance Rabon, Joseph “Jody” E. Rabon Jr., Stephanie Rabon Grantham (Woody), Mary Rabon Carter (Magnus), brother Benjamin Raymond “Benny” Gullette (Jo), sister Linda Lee Gullette Caimano (Ron). Grandchildren Chris, Daniel, Taylor, Emily, Maddy, Allison, Lauren, Kyle, Kristy, Lauren, Kevin, Collin, Matthew, Caroline, Julia, Kevin, Elizabeth Jean and Jessica. Also, many great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Benjamin Beryl Gullette and Coye Lucile Gullette, her husband Joseph E Rabon, her sister Betty Lou Gullette Moses, her sons Steven Martin Theobald and Gerald Wayne Theobald.
Gerry grew up in Vicksburg, MS and attended St. Francis Xavier Academy. Her true calling was being a loving wife to her husband Joe, a mom to her 5 children, a fun loving sister always ready for a trip to visit family and being a homemaker. She also was a kindergarten aide at College Park Elementary School and enjoyed being the team mom for Lance’s Ladson Baseball teams. She was an avid reader, loved British mysteries, playing the game Password and cooking delicious southern meals. She was known for making the best Pimento Cheese in the world.
A visitation will be held at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home for Geraldine, Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A celebration of life service will follow in the chapel, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Gerry will be laid to rest at Carolina Memorial Park following the services.
