Gracie Louise McIntyre

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, David F. McIntyre, and two siblings, Barbara Jean Cooley and Gerald Deas.

She is survived by her children David L. McIntyre of Fernandina, FL and Felicia McIntyre Johnson of Mount Pleasant, SC; sister Cynthia Eagerton of Manning, SC; and her grandchildren Pierce David McIntyre and Connor William McIntyre, both of Fernandina, FL.

Gracie, born April 11, 1933 in Bishopville, SC was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She retired from civil service after working over 30 years at the Charleston Air Force Base. After meeting and marrying in Charleston, Gracie and David spent the early years of their long marriage in Mobile, AL before moving back home to SC. They settled in Hanahan in 1965 where they happily raised their family and spent their lives. The family is comforted knowing that they are together again and with their Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. She will be missed by all who loved her dearly.

A private burial service is being held Wednesday, January 19 at Carolina Memorial Park.
