Harmon E Nixon

Born in Corpus Christi, Texas on June 23, 1945, Ed was the son of the late Harmon A Nixon and Frances Clearman Nixon.

Ed served in the United States Army and loved to fish and go on cruises.

Ed is survived by fiancé, Cheryl Cashwell Rourk; daughter, Frances K Nixon; son, Lee Roy Nixon; grandchildren, Krystal L Murray, Brian K Ford, II, Dustin Ford, Diana Nixon and Tabitha A Kail; great grandchildren, Anthony L Nixon, Zaq O Murray, Kaaliyah K Murray, Frances M Ford, Caydance C Beiring, Brian K Ford, Jr., Johnny C Ford, Ethan J Ford and Mila Ford; a sister, Ola Peters, 3 brothers; Jim Nixon (Malinda), Wally Clearman (Jennie), and Steve Clearman. Extended family, Angela Colosi, Cindy Zeigler, Beth Anne Clarke; 7 granddaughters; 2 great grandsons and his Boston Terrier, Charlie.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Victory Baptist Church located at 1120 Mail Route Road, Bonneau, SC 29431. Ed’s funeral service will follow immediately in the sanctuary.
