Harold D Roberts

Harold Douglas Roberts (Robbie). of North Charleston, joined his heavenly father on February 13, 2017. Born on Feb. 9, 1929 in Green Sea, SC to the parents of Ellis H and Irene Strickland Roberts. Survived by his beloved wife, Oree for 49 years. Also survived his daughter Joi Roberts-Violette; grandson Nathan D Violette; granddaughters, Robynne O Vickers and Emma O Violette . Great granddaughters, Desteny M Vickers and Trinity L Vickers; brothers, Patrick H Roberts; William J Roberts Sr; Larry R Roberts; Willie W Roberts. Pre-deceased by his brothers Edwin Roberts; Benjamin F Roberts; Jimmy Roberts; and sister Joyce Roberts. Harold was a graduate from Green Sea, SC. He retired from the Air Force and spent many years after retirement working for the Air Force managing NCO/Officier's Club in the US, Germany and Spain. He was also a Shriner for 50 years ;32nd Degree Mason;and a member of the Square and Compass Club, Scottish Rite. Visitation will be held on Friday, Feb.17,2017 from 12 noon until 2 pm, at which time a Chapel Service will be conducted, all will take place at the Carolina Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Carolina Memorial Park.
