

James Clayton Rachell also known as (Ray or Jim) Born in Lineville, Alabama June 27th 1948. Married in Saint Paul, Harleyville, SC. Went home to be with the Lord August 1, 2016. He was survived by his loving wife Linda Brooks (Lynn) and blessed with eight children and five grandchildren. He graduated from Linville High School, Class of 1966. He attended Columbia College in Hollywood CA where he earned a degree in radio, television, and film. Also he studied business at Woodbury University in Los Angeles CA. James was A Vietnam Veteran Army Airborne 101st division 1967-1970. His Medals include 2 purple hearts (1st OLC) A Sliver Star and Bronze Star with V Device. James parents are the late Clayton Rachell (Father) and the late Addie Mae Staples (Mother) and the late Rev. Clinert R. Staples sr. He worked over 30 years in the Woven Wire Mesh Industry. James Loved his family and the Lord with all his heart, mind and soul and his passion was teaching and preaching the gospel. Roman 12:1-2. I beseech you Therefore, brethren by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
