Born on August 15, 1943, in Chester, South Carolina, she lived a life marked by warmth, devotion, and unwavering love for her family and community.
Judith was a devoted wife, loving mother, caring grandmother, and the eldest sister in her family. She will be fondly remembered by her husband of 63 years, James D. Brooks; her daughter; son; grandchildren and many others whose lives were touched by her presence. Her beautiful smile and kind heart left lasting impressions wherever she went. Known for her great sense of humor and deep love for her family, Judith brought joy and comfort to those around her.
A woman of strong faith, Judith was a long-standing member of Harbour Lake Baptist Church. Her commitment to her church community reflected the values she held dear—compassion, service, and spiritual strength.
The family has decided on a private service to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers or cards, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s research, www.alz.org.
At peace in Heaven, but forever in our hearts.
