Although Linda’s passing was unexpected, she fought the COPD battle for several years. She lived a life of hard work, loved her family and her pets, enjoyed travel and had a love for the beach, which she shared with her family and instilled a great love of the beach in them all. She always had a great attitude and fought hard to persevere. She was an inspiration to us all and the people she knew and worked with.
Linda worked for America’s Preferred Home Warranty for 10 years and loved her job, because of the wonderful people she worked with. She talked about retiring finally when she turned 70, which would have been this coming July. Plans to move to Toledo to be near family were talked about, but never came to fruition.
Linda was preceded in death by our parents, Jim and Martha Donnelly. She is survived by her siblings, James (Jane) Donnelly, Rick (Phyllis) Donnelly and Esther Johnson (Rick). She is survived by her nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews: Jennifer Donnelly, Michael (Ali, Ava, Owen & Hadley) Fruland, Josh Fruland, Lauren (John, Jax & Josie) Rerucha, Lauren (Nate, Carter & Camden) Rieman, Matt (Verena) Johnson and Sarah (Taylor) Ryon. Also, surviving her is her beloved dog, Niki, who has been adopted by her sister, Esther, and brother-in-law Rick. She will be missed by her aunts, uncles and cousins and her work family. She was a part of our extended families and will be missed by all. She was also a part of Esther’s bible study group in Perrysburg, who prayed for her many, many times. She was loved by the “God Squad Sisters” and will be missed greatly by them.
Per Linda’s wishes, her ashes will be spread on a beach in Florida by her family. If you wish to leave a donation in her name, please do so to the American Lung Association. Please feel free to leave a message on this memorial page.
