Louis William Weeks, age 85, of Summerville, SC entered into eternal rest on March 31, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Louis was born in St. George, SC on August 24, 1933 to the late Vernon and Janet Weeks. He attended St. George High School and dedicated his life to helping others. He served in the National Guard for 9.5 years. In 1957 he began work in aviation and eventually started his own company, Aircraft Handlers, and then Weeks Aircraft Services.
He was preceded in death by Delphine Proveaux Weeks, his wife of 63 years, and his brother, Earl Weeks. He is survived by his children: David Weeks and wife Julie of Gaston, SC, Charles Weeks and wife Loretta of Pittsboro, NC, Angela Hitson and husband Craig of Summerville, SC; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Friday, April 5, 2019 at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home officiated by Reverend Doug Cotton.
The family will receive friends at 1 pm preceding the services. Graveside burial immediately following the services.
