Marsha Mountain Ott

Marsha was born on November 24, 1950 in Charleston, South Carolina. She was the daughter of Lyndon Mountain and Annie Ruth Mountain. Marsha had a 30-plus year career with Pearlstine Distributors and retired as the Communications Director for the City of North Charleston in 2019.

Marsha was a light wherever she went. She was also the most caring, genuine and trustworthy friend you could ask for. She loved spending time at Folly Beach, road-trip antiquing with her sister, and tending to her plants. Most importantly- she had a strong bond with her two sons and grandchildren- who she loved with all her heart.

Marsha is survived by her son, Scott Barfield (Helen) of Summerville, SC; son, Christopher Aders (Mary) of Manning, SC; sister Sandra Andriakos (Bob) of Dahlonega GA; brother Randy Mountain of Millen GA; and her two grandchildren that loved their “Dobby” very much: Grady Aders and Jaylee Barfield.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 11 o’clock at Carolina Memorial Park and Gardens, located at 7113 Rivers Ave North Charleston, SC 29406.
