Psalm 34:8
Paul Andrew Bennett was born January 16, 1960, the second of 7 beautiful children, born to the late Emily Bennett Smalls in Goose Creek, South Carolina. Paul, affectionately called “Dee Dee” attended Goose Creek High School and joined the United States Army upon graduating.
Paul served in the Army from February 13, 1980, until June 19, 1992, then later made his home away from home in Germany, when he joined MWR in Berchtesgaden as a cook in 1993. He later transferred to the Chiemese Hotel and then to Garmisch-Partrnkirchen in 2004 working at the Edelweiss Lodge and Resort giving a combined 40 years of service to the United States Government.
He enjoyed music, with his favorite artist of all time being Anita Baker, a great seafood dish and especially spending time with family.
Paul gained his wings on December 23, 2022, while still serving in Germany and he will sincerely be missed by all. He was preceded in death by his amazing Mother and best friend, Emily Bennett Smalls and leaves to cherish his memory; his beautiful daughter Shanice Wimmer of Germany.
