Ronald G Hinson

Relatives and friends of Ronnie Hinson are invited to attend his inurnment on Friday, May 1, 2026, at a time to be announced, at the graveside, Carolina Memorial Gardens, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406.

Ronnie was born in Charleston, South Carolina, on June 17, 1951. He was the son of Samuel Cecil Hinson and Thelma Mae Salisbury Hinson Pigott.

He attended Chicora schools in North Charleston and was a CDL truck driver. Ronnie was a Baptist and enjoyed reading, writing, drawing, thrifting, and spending time with his friends and family.

He is survived by his two children, Rodney Alan Hinson (Bridgett) and Jamie Hinson Mondo (Jerry); six grandchildren, Jonathan Hinson (Beth), Dayton Hinson (Rocio), Jerred Mondo, Jaiden Mondo, Jalaina Mondo, and Jameson Mondo; two great-grandchildren, Jace Hinson and Evelyn Hinson (and one on the way); one brother, Wayne Cecil Hinson (Shirley); three sisters, Donna Pigott Walker (Richard), Mary Pigott Mimms, and Myra Pigott Patton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Cecil Hinson, Thelma Mae Salisbury Hinson Pigott; stepfather, Travis York Pigott as well as his sister, Patricia Hinson Guest.
