Siegfredo Padlan

Mr. Siegfredo L. Padlan, 87, of Goose Creek,SC, husband of Eustacia Rovillos Padlan, entered into eternal rest Monday, October 27, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. The relatives and friends of Siegfredo Padlan are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 PM, Saturday November 1, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will be in Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday night at CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 7113 Rivers Ave., N. Charleston, SC 29406, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. He was born April 15, 1927 in San Carlos, Philippines, a son of the late Julian Padlan and Fausta Lavarias Padlan. He married Eustacia Rovillos in 1950. He retired from the US Navy as a Senior Chief after 30 years of service. He was an active member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Goose Creek, the Goose Creek Pangasinan Group, and a Filipino Catholic prayer group. Hobbies included gardening, sudoku, reading, and his latest favorite pastime was feeding the ducks in his back yard. He most loved being with family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Eustacia Padlan, son: Jon Padlan (Bambi) of Goose Creek, SC, daughters: Estela Padlan of Goose Creek, SC, Brenda Wilson (Cliff) and Alison Padlan-Gillette, both of North Charleston, grandchildren: Phillip Padlan, Columbus, MS, Leah Padlan, Biloxi, MS, Jesse Wilson, Hanahan, SC, Matthew Wilson, Summerville, SC, Michaela Gilette and Stephen Gillette both of North Charleston, Hubert Saladino, Astoria, NY, and Lloyd Saladino of Goose Creek, SC, great grandchildren: Taylor, Kaitlyn, Darian, Cody, Ayden, Ellis and Parker, a brother: Pabling Padlan and sister: Naty De Honor, Philippines. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Siegfredo L. Padlan to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 510 Saint James Avenue, Goose Creek, SC 29445.
