

Stanley is survived by his three devoted daughters, Patricia (Kevin), Andrea (Stephen), and Melissa (Calvin). He was a cherished grandfather to five granddaughters, Angel (Jason), Shannon, Deborah, Kelli (Carl), and Brianna, as well as two grandsons, Kevin Jr. (Alison) and Jason (Nicole). Stanley's legacy continues through his great-grandchildren, including a great-granddaughter, Dina, and great-grandsons, Judah and Ezra. He is also remembered by his two brothers, one sister, and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Stanley was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Faye, his mother, Dorothy Smith Kropp, his father, Stanley Sr., and his two brothers, George and John.
A proud Vietnam War veteran, Stanley served his country with honor. He later enjoyed a fulfilling career as a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Sioux City, Iowa, and Charleston, SC, where he eventually retired.
Stanley had a passion for football, often cheering for his favorite teams: Penn State, the Gamecocks, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Dallas Cowboys. He also delighted in spending time with his family playing video games like Fallout 4 and Animal Crossing.
A memorial service to celebrate Stanley's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Trinity Baptist Church, 2003 Charleston Hwy, Cayce, SC 29033.
