Tony was born on June 8, 1957, in El Paso, Texas, to Robert and Peggy Hamon. He lived a life defined by faith, service, and a genuine love for the people around him. Known for his joyful spirit and welcoming nature, Tony had a gift for making others feel valued and at home in his presence.
Tony spent the majority of his professional career working in quality control within the manufacturing industry at Kion North America. He approached his work with dedication, integrity, and a strong attention to detail, earning the respect of colleagues and peers throughout his career.
Outside of his profession, Tony found his greatest purpose in his faith and family. He was a devoted member and leader at Revive Charleston Church, where he passionately taught and encouraged others in their spiritual journeys. Teaching was not simply something Tony did; it was an extension of who he was. He loved sharing wisdom, offering encouragement, and helping others grow.
Tony also found joy in life’s simple and meaningful moments. He was an avid reader who valued learning and reflection. He especially loved cooking tacos for his family, turning ordinary meals into cherished family traditions filled with laughter, conversation, and togetherness.
Tony is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Hamon; his son and daughter-in-law, TJ and Elizabeth Hamon; his mother, Peggy Hamon; his sisters, Donna Kingsbury and Kathy Rhodes; and his beloved grandchildren, Baylor, Tazewell, and Ila Hamon. He leaves behind a legacy of faith, kindness, and unwavering positivity that will continue to live on through all who knew and loved him.
