He is survived by his parents, Dennis Connolly and Evelyn (Bill) Owens; his brother, Jason (Jessica) Connolly; and many cherished aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Robert and Barbara Connolly (paternal), E.P. and Jane Vereen, and Jackie Boulware (maternal), all of whom he remembered with deep love and affection.
Travis had a deep love for the water and animals, but his most cherished companion was his beloved dog, Summer, who brought him constant joy. From a young age, he found joy in being outdoors—whether surfing at the beach, fishing from a boat, or spending time with animals. His entrepreneurial spirit was evident early on, starting with mowing lawns for spending money and continuing with weekend landscaping work alongside his full-time job. Travis was always building something, often pouring his energy into small businesses and most recently, his own venture, Travis Connolly – Natural Gas and Propane Services.
Travis’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and in the many lives he touched with his kindness, creativity, and love for life.
A memorial service to honor Travis’s life will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Carolina Memorial Gardens, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Travis’s honor to one of the following:
Latitude 32 Credit Union Honor Fund – Established under the names Dennis Connolly and Jason Connolly, this fund will be used to help manage and care for the property and personal assets Travis left behind.
Palmetto Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club Rescue – Contributions may also be directed to organizations dedicated to rescuing and rehoming Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, a breed Travis held close to his heart.
Boykin Spaniel Rescue, Inc. – In recognition of Travis’s love for animals, especially dogs, donations may be made to support the rescue and care of Boykin Spaniels, another breed Travis held close to his heart.
Disclaimer: Please note that the donation fund is not part of the formal probate estate and is not administered by the estate’s executor. Contributions are considered personal gifts to the named account holders and will be used solely for the purposes described.
