William "Bill" Edwards

Bill is survived by his daughters Cheryl Steele (Rick), Cathy Jordan (Clay); his grandsons R. Dylan Steele (Savannah), Griffin Steele, and Brandon Murray; his granddaughter Caroline Cox (James); his sister June Dodd (Jim); and his brother Thomas Michael Edwards (Mary).

Bill is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 51 years Barbara Edwards, and his parents Clyde and Eunice; and his older brother Jack Edwards.

Bill retired after 30 years on February of 1987 as a Senior Chief Hull Maintenance Technician in the United States Navy. Bill was a devoted husband and father. He was a master of his craft; through this craft he touched the lives of so many people. Bill will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of life will be held for Bill at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Following the service will be the rendering of Military Honors. 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, South Carolina 29406.
