William Baynard Jarrell

He is the son of the late William Jarrell and Eva May Jarrell.

A beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, William lived a full and vibrant life, touching the hearts of many with his kindness and passion. William was the devoted husband of Alberta Giberson Jarrell, with whom he shared 50 amazing years together.

He is survived by his three children, Donna Proctor (Rick), David Jarrell (Kathy) and Donald Jarrell (Deann), as well as seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy. His special friend, Gloria Infinger, also held a dear place in his life.

A man of many talents, William found joy in golf (even got two hole in ones) Building racing cars, and woodworking, where his creativity and skill shone brightly. He was a proud Shriner, dedicated to the organization’s mission of service and community. William’s professional life was marked by 38 years of hard work at G&S Roofing, from which he retired with pride.

A visitation will be held on Saturday May 31, 2025 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406. A Graveside Service will follow from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at Carolina Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children or Southpaw Animal Rescue (740 Calhoun Trail Rutherfordton NC 28139), causes close to William’s heart.
