William Paul Kozak Jr.

Born on March 17, 1952, in Detroit Michigan, to the late William Paul Kozak and Ruby Julin, Bill lived a life devoted to family, service and simple joys.

Bill Is Survived by his sons and their families; Nick (Danielle) Kozak and Mike Kozak, his grandchildren Mason Kozak, Logan Kozak and Charlotte Kozak along with his sister Evy (Ron) Bergman and Audrey (Jerry) Bergman

Bill was preceded in death by his son Paul Kozak, his sister June Murray and his parents William Kozak and Rudy Julin.

After graduating from Edsel ford High School, Bill proudly served his country for 25 years in the United States Navy as cook, a role that combined his dedication to service with his passion for food and brining people together. He had a passion for golf.

Bill will be remembered for his kind heart, devotion to his family, and the love he shared so generously with all who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Tuesday August 26th, 2025 at 12 noon in the Carolina Memorial Funeral Home Chapel A visitation will be held between 10am and 12 noon at Carolina Funeral Home Parlor, 7113 Rivers ave, North Charleston, South Carolina 29406. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park with Navy Honors.
