Grandson, Kenneth D. Reeser (wife, Kelly Ann)

Granddaughter Kelli Jo Mejia (husband, Victor)

Great grandsons, Robert Deahn Reeser, Casey Douglas Reeser, Ketzal Rodin Mejia, and Izel Kenneth Mejia.

Arva married the love of her life (Kenneth Deahn) on October 31, 1941. They met at the bank where they both worked in Lincoln, Nebraska.They came to California in 1942 where they started a Mom & Pop neighborhood grocery store in Glendale. When the large grocery markets took over, Ken went back to banking. Arva was a stay at home mom raising the kids. Arva went to work for the Food service department for The Los Angeles School District in 1960. Kenneth died in 1972. Arva never remarried. Arva retired from the school district after 20 years of service. she spent her retirement years traveling with a group called the Patricians. She made so many friends. She traveled to every continent and had so many wonderful memories. In her later years she would go to the Sparr Senior Center everyday for lunch. They would play cards and she made so many friends. Arva loved and adored her family.
