

Born in New Jersey on January 13, 1958, Flo’s extraordinary life was defined by a passion for law, the arts, and the pursuit of justice. A brilliant and dedicated scholar, she graduated from Barnard College, Columbia University, in New York, where she forged the path for an illustrious career. She went on to earn her law degree from Columbia University School of Law, cementing her reputation as an exceptional legal mind.
Flo’s career was as diverse as it was distinguished. Upon completing her legal studies, she took a prestigious federal appellate clerkship with the Honorable Carl McGowan at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, where she gained invaluable experience in shaping appellate law. Her years in Washington, D.C. were formative, and she carried the lessons of those early years with her throughout her professional journey.
In 2017, Flo relocated to Los Angeles, where she applied her legal expertise to various prominent law firms.
In addition to her legal work, Flo had a creative side that she loved to explore. As she worked for Disney Films and among her many achievements, she was proud to have written an episode of the beloved television series The Nanny, a memorable milestone in her career that showcased her wit and flair for storytelling.
Flo is survived by her cherished family, friends, and colleagues, who will miss her dearly. She leaves behind a legacy of accomplishments, kindness, and a profound impact on the legal and entertainment communities.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to cat organizations that Flo cared for deeply.
