A highly respected leader in healthcare administration and human resources, John was a trailblazer who made lasting contributions to the industry, always advocating for those he worked alongside. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
John’s remarkable life was defined by his generosity, warmth, and devotion to others. He is survived by his wife Amy Ammari Bibby, his sons Lucas and Julian, his daughter Charlotte, his father Gabriel, his mother Mirna, his brother Nicholas, and his sister Carla.
Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate John’s life. Viewing services will take place on March 25th from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, followed by a Church Service, Eulogies, and a luncheon on March 26th, beginning at 12:00 PM, at St. Michael Antiochian Orthodox Church.
John’s passion for healthcare, combined with his dedication to service, made him a true advocate for improving the lives of others. He believed in the importance of every role in healthcare, from patient care to behind-the-scenes support, and his work in human resources helped to elevate countless professionals who shared his vision. His legacy will continue to inspire those working to make a difference in the lives of others.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the John Bibby Memorial Fund, which supports the healthcare professionals working in allied roles outside of nursing and medical practice, including respiratory therapy, transport, and occupational therapy. These professionals, working in both acute and ambulatory settings, provide invaluable care to patients every day. Contributions to the Memorial Fund will help honor John’s dedication to improving patient care and supporting the heroes in healthcare.
John will be remembered not only for his professional accomplishments but also for the love, laughter, and kindness he brought to those around him. He leaves behind a profound legacy that will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew him. John had an incredible ability to light up any room he walked into. He was the life of the party, always making everyone feel welcome and bringing laughter to those around him. Above all, what brought him the greatest joy was watching his children excel—not just in their schoolwork and sports, but in growing into the remarkable, compassionate individuals they are. His pride in them knew no bounds.
