John is survived by his son Mark J. Safady; his daughter Kimbery Enriquez; his son Jeffrey Safady; and his daughter Patrice Safady; his brother Thomas Safady.

A funeral service will occur Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Matthews Orthodox, 2368 Sonoma St., Torrance, CA 90501. A graveside service will occur Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Pierce Brothers Valhalla, 10621 Victory Blvd, North Hollywood, CA 91606.
