Freddie Ghezzi was my Accordion teacher in N. Hollywood, in the '60's and Maddelena was at the studio occasionally, and a very beautiful, nice person, and friendly to all the students... Her smile was  so amazing..so sorry for your loss, RIP, Gods Speed.

Dear family of Madelyn,

I went to Jr. High and High School with Madelyn.  We were in a club called  J- A-Nettes in High School.  I lived  right behind Freddie on Craner Avenue.  My brother worked at Nero's with Madelyn and we knew all her family.

I went on a double date with Freddie and Madelyn.  When we came out of the El Portel Theater, the car we were in had been stolen!  A  night never to be forgotten.

I have never known a sweeter, kinder girl than Madelyn.  Her beauty was inside as well as outside.  She was loved by all.  I have her beautiful graduation picture in my scrapbook and I will never forget her.

This is Sally Lawton widow of Jay Lawton. Jay and your parents go way way back. They introduced him to his first wife Sylvia who was  staying with some neighbors next door to your parents. She was a young lady named Sylvia Fournier and from Mexico City and was very lonely. Of course your mother took her under her wing.  And Jay being one of their friends won Sylvias heart and they married. Jay was a Disney employee and there is where our connection came in. Sadly Sylvia had passed away and he and I met at Disney and married. We would go and see your father when he was working a gig and of course later your mother Maddalena came to work at Disney. I got to hear lots of  wonderful stories of your parents and Jay and Sylvias years together. So thank you Freddie and Maddalena and Sylvia and Jay for linking me into wonderful life experiences. Your mother was a wonderful caring loving person and I was blessed to have known her. Love, Sally Lawton

I am so saddened and will try to get to the memorial service (I live in Northern ,CA.
I have contacted our old union buddies.   I have so many of memories, 25 years worth but did you know that when your mom and I were in the Bahamas she had her hair done in cornrows.  She looked adorable.  And then when were in Vancouver at Stanley Park - the place where Canada guess hang out and do their business, we saw some girls  Roller blading and your mom said she would like to try that but that we would have to borrow the suits the Michelin man wears so we could bounce!  How I loved your mother.
