Maria Vera Callahan

Maria was born to Guillermo and Maria Moreszes on 2/19/1939 in Los Angeles California.

She was known for her kind and compassionate spirit. She was a single mom who raised her 6 children on her own. She was retired and devoted her time with her grandchildren. Her greatest joy in life was her family and they were the central focus of her life, she was the heart of the family. She enjoyed listening to Elvis Gospel, Freddy Fender and Oldies were her favorite music. She enjoyed watching Korean soap operas and enjoyed her shopping trips to Trader Joe’s and was a devoted Catholic. She loved both her Dog “Chico” and her Cat “Rufus”. Her contributions as a member of the Women’s Auxiliary #2188 in raising funds for local charities through the years was something she enjoyed.

Maria is survived by Daughters, Debbie, Donna, Dottie, Theresa along with their husbands and children and Two sons George & Tommy along with their wives and children. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory is a sister, Lupe Jacob and brother Billy Moreszes and several nieces and nephews.

She also is survived by Grandchildren: Danny, Danielle, Salvador, Steven, Angelica, Norman, Serena, Anthony, Thomas, Andrew, Briana, Gabriel, Valerie, Sabrina, Kayla.

Her Great-Grandchildren: Julian, Jackson, Jasmine, Kylie, Miley, Cadence, Kameran, Aubree, Vincenzo, Angel, Alina, Aliyah.
