1927 – 2014
Marie A. DeMayo, 87 passed away Saturday, August 2, 2014 after a long fight with Alzheimer’s Disease.
Marie and her husband, Alpert P. DeMayo, owned and operated an Italian Delicatessen in North Hollywood, CA for 35+ years. More recently Marie, who was widowed in 1994, lived at Pacifica Senior Living Facility with her loving companion of 18 years, Arthur Jukes. Previous to Pacifica, Marie was enjoying life with her friends at the Friendly Valley Senior Community in Santa Clarita, CA.
Marie is survived her children: Toni Hammack of Van Nuys, CA; Albert M. DeMayo of Santa Clarita, CA; 3 grandchildren: Corey, AJ, and Maxwell and 1 great-grandchild, Arriana.
Services will be held at 10:00a.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Pierce Brothers Valhalla Memorial Park, 10621 Victory Blvd, North Hollywood, CA 91606.
