Oshana Korail

Oshana was a steady example of hard work, dedication, and love for his family and friends. Leaving his home in Iraq, he journeyed across continents before arriving in Los Angeles in 1981. He then met his loving wife, together they made a life defined by love and devotion.

Many of his happiest moments were shared within the walls of his home—a home he built, painted, and repainted time and time again. The work was never finished, as he was always looking for the next project, each one reinforcing the foundation of his love. Every added feature reiterated his care and remains a testament to his hard work.

Oshana was a devoted husband to Violeta and a loving father to Cynthia, Melissa, and Valerie. He expressed his love through his playful sense of humor, loud affection, and his quiet support.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered

A memorial service will be held at Pierce Brothers Valhalla, located at 10621 Victory Blvd, North Hollywood, CA 91606, on December 26, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

A committal service will follow at External Service Location, 10621 Victory Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 91606, from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.

There will be a reception held at Pierce Brothers Valhalla Memorial Park and Mortuary, Reception Room, 10621 Victory Blvd, North Hollywood, California 91606, from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
