

Born in Sacramento on March 27, 1985, Paul died unexpectedly in a pedestrian accident on July 2, 2017, in Tarzana, CA. He is survived by his brother Eric, his mother Marguerite, his father Eugene Baker, and his uncle Gregory Story. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Ted & Emily Story, as well as, John & Wilna Baker his Paternal grandparents Paul had a life-long passion and natural talents for art, music, and sports. He excelled in drawing, creative writing, and film. He played acoustic and electric guitar, piano, and harmonica. He was a valuable team member on soccer and swim teams. He was a member of Presentation Catholic Parish, where he was a Boy Scout and altar server. Paul attended Carden School of Sacramento from preschool through 5th grades, and Presentation Catholic School from 6th through 8th grades. He attended El Camino High School from 9th through 11th grades, and Mira Loma High School in 12th grade, graduating in 2003. Later he attended American River College, the Art Institute of Sacramento, and Columbia College of Film/Hollywood. He lived and worked in the San Fernando Valley after college. He will be remembered for his loyalty to his friends and family, his lively sense of humor, and adventurous spirit.To the end of his short life, he was working actively on his plans for the future, and was in weekly contact with his family. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
A funeral Mass will be held at noon on Saturday, August 5th, at Our Lady of the Presentation Catholic Church, 4123 Robertson Ave., Sacramento. A memorial service/celebration of life with a film of Paul’s life and refreshments will follow in the parish hall.
