Sharon Sherrie Dee Wescott

March 1, 1942 – September 21, 2013

Sharon Dee Wescott, of Canyon Country, CA, passed away on Sat, September 21, 2013. She was 71 years old.

Daughter of Morton & Ethel Longnecker, she was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN, along with her two siblings, Bud & Shirley. After graduating from Honey Creek high school and attending Indiana University, she received her nursing degree from Mobile Community Hospital. She married Roger Wescott in 1980 and spent most of her nursing career on the gulf coast.

She called Biloxi, MS home, where she enjoyed being an active member of her church, Mardi Gras & Dinner clubs and various medical education programs.

In 2007, she moved to Canyon Country, CA to be closer to her family. That enabled her to participate in many of her family's football, baseball and basketball games, as well theatrical plays and vacations. But most of all, it gave her time to build more memories with her grandchildren.

Sharon is survived by her husband Roger and her sons Mark, Troy & Roger Jr. She is also the proud grandmother of Dylan, Gage, Alex, Jacob & Ashley.

She will be remembered as someone who lived life with open arms, always there in time of need, providing love and support to all that knew her.

Funeral & burial services are scheduled for Thurs, Oct 3rd, 2013 @ 1pm @ Pierce Brothers Valhalla in North Hollywood, CA.
