In Pennsylvania, Levin built Gary Levin Wholesale, which sold heavy machinery to local auto body shops. He raised his family in nearby Richboro.
Two years ago, Levin relocated to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, where he worked as a ride-share driver and shared his semi-retired life with partner Kathi.
Levin was a lifelong fan of fast cars and Eagles football, and will be most remembered for his affection and humor. He swapped grandchildren stories with total strangers; spontaneously broke into song in public; and always ended phone-calls with those dear to him by saying “I love you.”
He is survived by son Jonathan, daughter Lindsay, brother Donald, sister Ellen and four grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at Temple Judea in Coral Gables, Florida, on Sunday, Feb. 19 at 10 a.m.
