Dorothy was born in Brooklyn, New York. Dorothy met her beloved Arthur when she was 11, and he was 15 years old. In Dorothy's words, she chased him until he caught her. Throughout their 66 years of marriage and partnership, Dorothy and Arthur loved to travel the world, visiting nearly all of the continents, just about every country in Europe, and spending time in Israel, India, Bora Bora, Tahiti, and more. For many years Dorothy worked as a travel agent. She went back to get her college degree when she was in her 30s and studied for a master's in Psychology. She lived in Sacramento for 50 years before moving with Arthur to Florida. She was a positive, upbeat, and loving person. Dorothy was fun to be around with a great sense of humor, never taking herself too seriously. And, of course, she always dressed meticulously, with the perfect hat to match.
