Gary Schall, 94, passed away peacefully at home in Pompano Beach, Florida. Formerly of Lawrence, New York, Gary was the beloved husband of Ellen for 64 wonderful years. He was a devoted father to Caryn and Steven Farbman, William and Robin Schall, and Lisa and Brett Carmel. Gary was also a proud grandfather to Jason and Brittany Farbman, Bryan Schall, Vivian and Max Carmel, and Jacob Goldberg.
A graduate of the University of Southern California and Columbia Law School, Gary also served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. His legacy of love, dedication, and integrity will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.
A chapel service will be held at the Star of David Funeral Chapel, located at 7701 Bailey Road, North Lauderdale, FL 33068, on January 8, 2025, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am. Following the service, Gary will be laid to rest in the Garden of Sinai III at the Star of David Memorial Gardens Cemetery and Funeral Chapel, at the same address, with a burial scheduled from 11:00 am to 11:30 am. His final resting place will be in Section Garden of Sinai III, Row 18, Space 518.
