Goldie Baron, nee Shapiro, 99 yrs, of Delray Beach FL, formerly of Pompano Beach, New York City, and Great Neck, Long Island, died on June 11, 2023. She leaves behind 3 loving children, Arthur (Naomi), Judy, and Barbara (Clive Miskin), 5 grandchildren: Josh, Jessica, Joanna, Alex, Sally and their families; 12 adored great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and close friends. Goldie, who received her BA in Philosophy and Anthropology at the age of 55 was an avid art collector and world traveler, loved tennis, opera and classical music. She and her beloved late husband of 69 years, Jack Baron were long time members of Muttontown Country club on Long Island and Palm Aire Country Club in Pompano Beach.
A graveside service for Goldie will be held Tuesday, June 13, 2023 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM in the garden of DEBORAH at Bailey Memorial Gardens Cemetery and Funeral Chapel, 7801 Bailey Road, North Lauderdale, FL 33068.
