

Lindon Asrich “Donnie” Muschett, son of the late Alma Louise Peart and Kenneth George Wilberforce Muschett was born on February 20th, 1941 in Porous, Jamaica. The eldest of eight siblings, he was commonly referred to as “Brother Donnie”. He attended Porous Elementary School followed by J.C Wright. Donnie also completed his mechanic training under the mentorship of Mass Charlie.
In 1965, Donnie migrated to England and attended Polytechnic Institute for further learning. He resided in New Cross and was employed by Clarks and Perrin. Donnie had an entrepreneurial spirit and spent many years In Lewisham, as an independent mechanic.
In 1970, Donnie migrated to New York and chose the borough of Brooklyn for his residence. He was employed by Mendon Trucking Leasing Company and thereafter was employed by American Airlines as a mechanic. He continued with his entrepreneurial spirit, as an independent mechanic, working at his residence, at East 95th Street in Brooklyn while continuing his full-time employment with American Airlines.
Donnie was the loving father of four children. Donovan, (mother, Clarissa McCloud). Karlene, (mother, Dawn Reynolds) and Ian and Marcia (mother, Beatrice Muschett).
In 1986, Donnie retired due to his health issues and proceeded to move to Florida, and chose Plantation as his first destination. In 1991, he moved to Coral Springs, on Riverside Drive, Donnie lived an independent life despite his adversities and health issues. Due to health concerns, Donnie reluctantly moved to a nursing home for additional care.
On Saturday, November 14th, 2015, Donnie went home to be with the Lord. Left with precious memories are his four children and daughter in law, Sandra; six grandchildren, Marcus, Zoie , Teaira , Teandra and Anyanna. Six sisters: Chloris, Heather, Karlene, Jacqueline Yolanda, Precious and Veronica; and one brother, Christopher. He is also survived by Robert Williams (Uncle Bob) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, beloved friends and extended family.
