My thoughts and prayers go out to Lou Gale.  He was a wonderful gentleman and a special friend and neighbor.

Lou will forever be in my daily prayers for he was a wonderful and caring man.  Rest in Peace Lou.

I met Lou at White Stag with Christina back in 1975.  

There was a spirit of trust in the air that made business fun. That was Lou and his ethics.  

Robert, David and I became lifelong friends.  

Lou was quality.  Not easy to find anymore. 

Godspeed.

My Uncle Lou owned every room he entered. He lives in my earliest memories, from our apartment in the Bronx to his and Millie's in Forest Hills, to our nearby homes in Jericho.  Years later their apartment on Central Park South was my home away from home; visiting in Newport Beach he'd be sure to have my favorite new discovery, sushi, on hand. He was part of every holiday, every family get together. Easy to laugh, easy to cry, Unc made everyone feel like they were the most important person on earth. My mother, his little sister, placed him on a pedestal  for her entire life. He and my dad bonded as brothers. My husband adored him. Our children followed suit. RIP, Uncle Lou. Your absence is felt.

Lou gave me my first  career opportunity in apparel sales. His encouragement and constant inspiration lead to a successful career. I have many fond memories of my time spent in New York around Millie and Lou’s dinner table always making me feel at home when away from home. They both were examples of the importance of family to both Delia and myself. Lou will now finally be together forever with his lovely Mille.

Uncle Lou was my mentor and taught me everything I know about salesmanship. He was like a father to me and always would bring out the positive sides of every situation. A loving father who would always talk to his children everyday no matter where he was traveling.  Lou was a great speaker and writer. 
 We would go out to diner usually once a week with Millie and my wife Kathy to our favorite place "The Palm" where Lou had his caricature painted on the wall with all the other celebrities. 

Because of Covid  this was the first year we didn't go to Florida  where we always looked forward to having  lunch or dinner with uncle Lou. I'm sad because we didn't get to see him this year.

 I always remember the egg cartons that Lou would fill with golf balls that he found by his back yard.   Also  him giving us a cheese cake to share with our friends . 

I remember years ago when Millie and Lou drove to visit us in Cape Cod.  We had a wonderful time.  Drove to the dunes in Sandwich and had a lobster bake on the beach.  So many memories and so may laughs.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family of Lou Gale.  Lou is the most caring,  loving and personal man that I have met in my life.  May he now rest in peace with the love of his beautiful wife.

We met Lou and Millie when they were visiting Stephanie and Arnie in Los Angeles. They were 
sweet, kind and so obviously proud of Stephanie and Arnie and their life in LA. Lou was wearing Gucci loafers, and Arnie clearly shared his father’s love of fashion.  Lou and Millie had a powerful love story and now they are back together.
