Masha Harris Stoff passed away peacefully on November 10, 2025 at her residence in Parkland Florida.
She had been in good health until that time, living a long and active retirement.
Masha was born in Brooklyn, NY, and moved with her mother, Jenni Harris, to Miami Beach when just a child. She attended public school in Miami Beach and graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in Education. She later achieved a Masters Degree in Education from FIU in Miami.
Masha made a huge impact on the lives of hundreds of children, whom she loved, as an elementary school teacher for 38 years in Miami-Dade County, most of those years at Seminole Elementary School
in West Dade. She then retired and enjoyed another three decades of active living, creating dozens of impressive paintings and being a regular bridge player. She enjoyed a wide circle of friends in Miami-
Dade, and then at her later residence and social circles in Broward County.
Masha was a loving and greatly appreciated mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, who were very fortunate to have continual closeness
with her throughput her life and retirement. Masha is survived by her daughter Susan, son Larry, daughter in law Millie, grandchildren Lawrence Jr. and Amanda, and great grandchildren Grayson and Isla.
Masha, also known to us lovingly as simply “Grandma” - Your legacy will carry on forever through those you loved and touched. Please rest now knowing all the love and goodness you left behind. We miss you dearly and will never forget you.
