Monica S. Yandow, June 29, 1924 - November 26, 2022.  Beloved wife of William Yandow (deceased), Caring Aunt to many who she loved endlessly. Adored by best friends Joseph and Eleanore Woodstock and “her” 12 Woodstock children.

My Dear Godmother, I first want express my thanks to God almighty for YOU. Next, I want to express my deep regret that I was not laying next to you singing show tunes as you passed on from this world into the great world that you deserve HEAVEN. I have no doubt that you were met at the gates by your beloved husband and sister, El and Joe (my parents who ADORED you). Until the end, you gave us lessons of  strength, true love and forgiveness.

I don’t know a time in my life that you were not present. In fact, my family has been living in your and Willy’s beautiful home for more than 23 years.How very blessed are Jan and I to raise our family in the same home I have visited my entire life. The first time Jan came to your door, he told you he wanted to buy your house. You helped make our dream come true by waiting to sell until we could save enough money for the down payment. For many years after you moved away and Willy had passed on, you came back “home” to us for the Summers and we prepared your bedroom for you.

Helping Senior Citizens, Teenagers, The Homeless and The Poor, Animals. I could go on and on. You served endlessly and without credit. You loved us all unconditionally and we love you unconditionally. Your life made many lives better and I am honored to be one of your darlings. Forever, Jude

To our beloved Monica -

Thank you for all the time you spent with us growing up.  Having you and Willie at our Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners always made them special.  I can remember you at almost all of our life events and it’s very comforting to remember back on them fondly.

You always encouraged me to write and I always appreciated that.   You were made of all the great and wondrous things that will bring my stories to life.  I will look forward to writing them soon.

Please know how much we all loved you and will continue to do so in our thoughts and in our prayers.

Monica was a foundational part of our childhood.  She made the bridal veil for my wedding.  Always fun to be with.  Intelligent, witty and always inquiring about the things that make life fun.  She was generous with her time and always made our visits to FL memorable.  Loved every minute that I spent with her.  Loved that she wanted to be included in all of our family celebrations. Rest In Peace Monica.   You knew how to be a good friend.  We all appreciated you. You were a gift to our Mom and Dad.  

Monica was such an important part of our life. Not just as our talent agent but as an advisor, friend to all of us, great friend to our mother, and giver of herself to so many causes.

I remember going to her house with my mother at Christmas time. Willy would be reading in the den and their entire dining room was filled with things to make baskets for families in need at Christmas.  

I am grateful that she will be reunited with Willy at last. She will be remembered always as a very strong woman with a very large heart. God Bless You Monica!   RIP
