Monte Alan Sternfeld, Age 71, of Boca Raton, Florida passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2023. Monte was born in New York City and graduated from Queens College with a Bachelors in Business Administration. An avid game show fan, Monte was a three-time champion on "Wheel of Fortune" in 1993 and won nearly 100,000 dollars in prizes. He was voted back for the favorites episode later that year. Monte loved community theater and was an avid participant in the Parkside Players of Queens. He retired from the New York State Insurance Fund in 2009 and moved down to Florida where he resided until his death. He was a beloved son, brother, nephew, uncle, and friend and will be greatly missed.
