When I met Paul I had been working for Amex about 9 years however that position was eliminated and I was placed into a phone customer service position. This was to me a night mare I had been in customer service jobs face to face but never over the phone. Paul was one of my trainers, and he was just amazing and kind and knowledgeable. I wanted to be just like him. I retired with 38 years.. Paul was always encouraging me and letting me know how I could do it and be the best at it. We formed a friendship that I'll never forget. He shared his family and travels with me. He taught me so many things about love and life and family. I honestly think Paul didn't have a mean bone in his body.  I know my success at Amex was due to my trainers Suzie and Paul. We shared stores about his daughter and grandson who was the same age as my son. I have never met Betsi or Daniel yet I feel like I've known them forever. Lastly, I learned how important love and family was. Paul loved Nora more then life itself. I truly think as hard as it is losing him , at least he is back with Nora  enjoying life traveling  and at peace in her arms. .

Dear Betsi and Family, 
I’m just returning from a 2 week vacation and see that your dad, Paul Goren, has passed away. I know how much you wanted him to get stronger and move into the ALF. Of all the things I remember about your dad, the most memorable one is how he smiled and teared up when we spoke about you. You definitely were his pride & joy. Paul was not only a dear colleague, but a great friend. We loved his kind, gentle spirit and helpful manner. His love for his family was outstanding. He loved to travel and we loved listening to his cool stories.His cooking ability was also admired.
We shared wonderful times together, especially when he visited us in Ga for a few days and we took a glorious trip to Helen.
