Ruth Solomon Rothstein passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 102. She is survived by her beloved daughter and son-in-law, Diane Rothstein Slobotkin and Alan Slobotkin, her grandchildren Stephanie Slobotkin Leen and Josh Leen, David and Jennifer Slobotkin, Barry Rothstein, great grandchildren Maya, Toby, Johnny and Winnie.
Ruth was born on May 11, 1920, in Brooklyn, New York and spent most of her life living in Manhattan at her apartment on Fifth Avenue. When not in New York she would either be in Vermont skiing with friends and family or traveling to far off destinations halfway around the world. She shared her passion for travel with her family, taking them to Israel, the UK, Norway and Alaska.
She took great joy in visits from family when she moved to Florida, where she was loved and well taken care of by Diane and Alan until she passed. May her memory be a blessing and may her influence on the lives she touched live on in all our hearts.
